It's probably just a small ulcer. If it's not painful to her, then I wouldn't bother it. You may do more harm than good. I'd leave that to the doctor on Monday. If it starts bothering her, you can get Ambesol from any CVS or Target. It numbs the gum so the sore isn't painful. She does need to watch what she eats - acidic things like soda and orange juice can be very painful on a mouth ulcer.

Put some camphophenique on it with a cotton swab. I don't know how to spell it; it sounds like this? It comes in a little green bottle. You can also use peroxide mouthwash. Bless her heart, I know it has to be sore. Ambalsol for teething/sore gums and teeth can be used to relieve the pain. Yes- salt is good; warm salt water for 10 min. every hour...

It might be a dental abscess.
First aid is a hot compress, a
'warm as she can tolerate` used tea bag
is good, applied directly on the 'lump`.
She should see a dentist as soon as possible.

rinse her mouth with salt water every couple of hours, and don't let her have any juice or foods with a lot of acid (orange juice, ect,).
