I was just wondering if heaps of people are praying to God at the same time, how is God supposed to understand as all at once?

You see, the thing that you do not understand is that God is... well, God. He can do absolutely anything. He can create life, he can rebuild cities, he can forgive sins..
Wherever you are, you can always talk to God. Sometimes there are people who have SO much faith, that God reaches out to them in a physical way that they can see and understand. And other times, God just grants us with health, money, and prosperity. God can do absolutely anything, he can always hear what you're saying in your head. He knows what you're going to think even before you think about it, he knows what you're going to do even before you do it -- whether it's good or bad, that is called your Free Will, meaning that he will not STOP you from doing it. It's your own choice.
In conclution, God can listen to everyone at once, because he can do absolutely anything, he is the great One.

Good; someone is coming to realize that God is in fact supernatural; His power is supernatural; He is Divine; the Almighty All Knowing All Seeing God of the universe. He does not have to listen; He already knows what we will say before we say it. Understand that from Day One God knew every thought and word of every person on the earth from the beginning of the first day to the final second of the end of the age. Our finite minds cannot comprehend His grandeur.

first u need to understand god. which itself is going to take a life time.
to give an example, when u reach infinity in science the rules of the game have to change. try the simple add, subtract, multiply, divide for starters.
so is the case with god. your day to day understandings, rules, regulations, methods do not work at that level.
to give another example: we generate so much electricity and transmit it around the world. but to catch the electricity of lightning and transmit it around......... we can't. the rules have to be changed, the transmission systems have to be changed, the thinking itself has to change. some thing similar but MIGHTY big.

A God who is Omnipotent is not limited at all :) That's the whole point. He's running the universe and listening to your prayers and doing everything all at once. You also need to remember that He stands outside of time, so there is no such thing as doing something AFTER something else...

I never really thought about that until I saw "Bruce Almighty". That made me feel sorry for God if He has to hear that many prayers all at the same time. What a SUPER HEADACHE !!! But then..God is able to do anything...so I'm sure He's got it all figured out.

the 1st subject i've got faith you may evaluate is how God works in time. because time is His introduction, and the risk of His being outdoors of time is robust, then he could look on the universe and His introduction as multi function piece, as a thank you to communicate. Isaiah fifty 5:9 speaks to the heavens as greater than the earth and "so are My techniques greater than your techniques." If he can see us multi function piece, how approximately his skill to take heed to in one piece? God created this universe, 13 billion mild years deep and counting . . . He can hear you and spot you! Romans 8:28 - "God reasons all issues to paintings together for sturdy to those that love God, to those that are referred to as in accordance to His objective." Cool!

God is all-knowing, as well as all-powerful. One of God's superpowers is to be able to know, understand and answer an unlimited number of prayers simultaneously.

God uses the internet. Prayers go as emails and god decides whether to consider it as spam or to reply back. Most of the time, he clicks spam though and prayers go unanswered
