to count calories when i eat every sunday at my grandmas ? is there a certain amount of pasta and salad i could put on my plate and still be able to count the calories into my daily total

Look on-line and Google "calories" and you should find estimates of what is in Grandma's cooking.

Unless calorie counting is a medical necessity for you, stop worrying about having to count every calorie. When you're at Grandma's just eat small portions. That should be fine.

No, just eat small portions. Your grams might be offended if you ask her what she put in it, unless she thinks you want the recipe. That might be an idea too, ask her for the recipe so you can figure out the calorie content later.

I'd try to keep it the size of a lady's palm. That should be small enough to help you watch your calories.
