For a definitive answer insofar as is presently known, type "Canon of the New Testament" into Yahoo web search and a number of links comes up. You might be interested in the Catholic Church's Canon or wikipedia's comments but there are many links.

About those who profess to "speak with God:" doesn't everyone who prays speak with God? Many claim to get answers. It is dangerous to claim to have talked with God and heard his voice in answer because it can get you a diagnosis of schizophrenia paranoia. Isn't it quite likely that there were schizophrenics in Biblical times who wrote about their "visions?" Maybe the Bible was written by ancient schizophrenics.
