Example, if a very ugly guy or girl went up to Jesus before the prom and ask him how they looked, Would Jesus just comment on their inner beauty or would Jesus just come out and say, Wow, you are one ugly mother f#*&#@!
Or would Jesus lie to be nice and say, Wow, you look beautiful!

NO, He doesn't lie! But He would look at the heart. Some very homely people have exceptionally beautiful hearts and isn't that what's important? Outer beauty fades with time. Inner beauty only gets more beautiful.

If Jesus were more than a fictional character, he would ask those without mascara to cast the first insult - and pretty much just dodge the question.

He wouldn't lie. But the two answers you describe are not the only ways out. :) It's possible to compliment someone on something other than their looks.
Whatever he'd say, he'd make them feel a lot better about themselves, I'm sure.
