Why does he want more?

My guy friend does not live near me anymore because he moved. I have known him since I was two years old and i'm 16 now. We write letters to each other because seeing each other is kinda hard since he is too far away. I sent him some pictures just so that he would have them. He said that I look beautiful and that I am beautiful. He calls me baby-girl and other sweet names. Now he is always asking for more pictures. Why?
