Well, from an Atheist standpoint... okay, furthermore, as a licensed nutritionist... all flesh from the Animal Kingdom is considered meat. Its composition is the same: Muscle is muscle, composed of fibers and mainly water (human muscle tissue, for example, is 70% water). It contains a fair amount of proteins, and is the easiest way for one to consume complete proteins (all essential amino acids are present). Organs are organs, whether from a fish or a bear. They all serve remarkably similiar functions. You can dicker about gills verses lungs, but the mechanics for oxygen absorbtion are very much the same between each.

Fish IS meat. Sorry, guys.

[Edit] Here's a strange musing for you: When the human body experiences low blood sugar, it slows down in order to preserve energy. Why, then, is the practice of not eating anything called "fasting?" I'm having a little trouble with that!
