Christians: When you picture in your mind a fellow Christian judging others - a clear defiance of Jesus' words, do you feel some kind of a repulsion?
You know, like similar to when people "squirm" up at the sound of nails on a chalkboard?
Do you feel like maybe some of that feeling could be a spiritual feeling, like your heart is telling you that it is wrong?
Thanks :)

Zilla,
YES, Of course it is wrong. I do my best to assist in keeping my friends and neighbors away from such people. They give Christianity a BAD NAME! Christ would never want us to act in such a manner. I sometimes wonder if I am doing the right thing by feeling this way about them too (Judgmental). Have a wonderful week.
Thanks,
Eds
PS... Thanks for asking!

Yes, it is wrong, but christians and non are all guilty, I'm judged because I am christian, and another because they are not, a personal relationship with Jesus is best then its just between you and Christ and what others think don't matter unless you do something to lead so meone else astray like judging. Try a personal relationship today. Read Romans 10:9

You pose a good question, yet I doubt you'll have an person-friendly time searching an answer. with out entering into my personal perspectives on the problem, i will attempt a wager utilising common sense. The bible changed into written by technique of guy... or maybe if 'God' changed into fairly chatting with the persons who wrote the bible, it is going to be tainted with personal opinion in accordance to what changed into customary in this era. Lust is an inner feeling... love and popularity of Jesus, or 'God' is an inner feeling... so committing "adultery in his heart", in biblical words, is in all probability below the persumption 'undesirable urges' ARE equivalent to the act itself. keep in thoughts, we are talking about a time at the same time as the functioning of the human thoughts changed into no longer nicely understood. the problem with the Bible is that that's so open to interpretation it would want to point one unmarried get accurate of entry to would advise many diverse issues to many diverse human beings... and their arguments can all seem valid. i desire someone can grant you with a more advantageous clarification, yet i'm certain this is going to handle an complete personal which skill for most persons answering.

It does make me squirm when I see or hear other Christians judge as it is not in harmony with scripture. We can say we disagree because we see things in a different perspective to how others believe. To be judgmental is to come right out and say they are wrong, or to tell them they are condemned if they don't accept our beliefs. Who are we to say what is in a person's heart. Final judgment belongs to God.

I am so surprised there were no crazed Naruto/Sasuke fangirls answering that question, but well, this is R&S, isn't it?
The judgmental Christians...that's a funny one. I think of them less than I do my own problems. A sharp arrow of truth shuts them up good. They're actually very easy targets. Once that shaft leaves the bow, I no longer worry. An occasional email, but you know, honey traps more flies than bees.
er...was that analogy apt? I think I messed up.

Yeah I believe it's a spiritual feeling. Contention is wrong. And that is usually the feeling it creates. But most on here do it to some degree regardless of their belief system.

Atheists take one verse and decide Christians are not allowed to speak out against sin because of it. We are allowed to say something is a sin. In fact if we did not call a sin what it is then we would be failing God. When I say homosexuality is a sin it is not me judging on my own. I am merely telling you God's judgment. There is nothing at all wrong with that.

It gives me a major repulsion and reminds me to keep an open mind so I don't turn into one of those insecure, mindless people who seem to get self-satisfaction from pointing out how much better they are than others.
