Can you please pray that God shows me what I need to do in regards to custody of my 13 year old son, and that God keeps my son strong, mentally and physically, so he can get through some of the challenges that are present in his life, and that my ex-husband will truly consider what is best for our son from this point forward? This has been an ongoing struggle for several years, and I feel a major intervention is needed. I thank you in advance for your help!

Father,

I am so thankful that this is the Day that the LORD hath made and we can rejoice in it.

Thank you for this mother, son and father. Thank you that this lady is calling upon you for Your guidance and wisdom.

Father, you know their situation and you know what is needed to address all the problems and concerns of this dear mother. God, I thank you that you are faithful and that you are the One we can call upon in our time of need.

God, I just ask that this lady is strengthened in her faith--that she lean not on her own understanding but in all her ways acknowledges you and you will direct her footsteps. Let her have your wisdom, understanding, knowledge, discernment and guidance.

God, please send across the path of all those involved your dedicated children to minister to this family-- to pray, intercede and encourage them so that they may glorify you and you will glorified even in these circumstances.

In Jesus name.
Amen.

I got caught up in that kind of situation too. I made the mistake of thinking my son would do better with his father. Fortunately I am the custodial parent and had no problem getting my son back. You need to file a custody enforcement form with your local courts and get your baby back. My circumstance is different than yours in that I was not abused by this man however, I was abused by another and there is no way that I would have sent any of my children to live with an abusive person no matter how bad their behavior is. How could you have jeopardized your sons safety that way? I don't understand that at all. And now you're regretting your decision? What do you expect from your son after you sent him into that kind of environment?

julesl68 I will put you on my prayer list.
One of my favorite versus in the bible is Paul writing to the church in Philippi.
Philippians 4:4-
4 Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!
5 Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.
6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;
7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

Turn this all over to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ -- he will never give you more than he knows you can handle. I will pray for you, my dear, and your son and even your ex-husband. I will ask that Jesus ease your mind, keep your son strong, and allow your ex-husband to see clearly the best needs of your son. Peace to you, my dear, and remember that with Jesus ALL things are possible!

Yes, I will pray for you, your son, and your ex-husband. I would like to share the following scripture from God's word to encourage and strengthen you: Psalm 9:9-10 - "The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee." God bless you!

No, but I'll consult the psychic network, ok?

If god loves you, and he does right?..... then you know that everything will work out just fine.

You only need an 'intervention' cause you believe in fairy tales, honey.

Just stick to the legal proceedings, not waste your time 'wishing on a pray'.

Grow up.

Ask God to take over the situation and obey whatever He tells you; aside from what you already know to do, to walk in love, wisdom, and truth.

God loves you sooo much. I pray God bless you with the wisdom of putting all the puzzle pieces together in you & your sons & your ex-husbands life. Come boldly before the Throne of Grace in hour of need. Grace is freely given, not that we earn it. So, we come before God's Throne of Grace in hour of need because Jesus shed blood has given us right standing before God.

Reach up & receive Gods grace given to you. Who is he who overcomes, he who is born of God. What is our victory, our faith.
