Hippies are inspired by greatness... the best life has to offer.. they worked for peace, love, acceptance, they deserved more respect than the world gave them... As a matter of fact... the christians might preach these things but fall far short of it... for love is never a companion condemnation...so if the christians want an example of what they preach.. they should look at the hippies as an example... which includes no religion...

Jesus dressed modestly. If we close our eyes and form a mental picture, we see flowing robes, from wrists to ankles—much like the loose Arabian thobes and the Indio-Pakistani shalwar kameez, typical of the Muslims of those areas. What we don’t imagine is the revealing or seductive clothing so ubiquitous in Christian cultures.
Jesus’ mother covered her hair, and this practice was maintained among the Christian women of the Holy Land up to the middle of the twentieth century. Again, this is a practice maintained among Muslims as well as Orthodox Jews (of which Jesus was one), but not among modern day Christians.

I just LOVE the pictures of the White Hippie Jesus! He's my fave Jesus...next to Baby Jesus and On The Cross Jesus. I don't really see many real pics of Jesus though...you know...Jewish Arab looking Jesus....

Jesus was the first hippie. they think they must look "respectable" and well groomed. i look like the paintings of the white jesus. it's funny. sometimes i wonder if i get high and drunk enough and look at a picture of jesus will i accidentally think it's a mirror? i'm an atheist by the way. i would like too see christians dress like hippies.
