As a plus size woman, I can answer that. It's because when it comes right down to it, people still care what other people think of them and don't want any teasing or taunting about dating a large woman. We are the same inside as those tiny size 4's only we are nice and not bitchy that if you don't do something for us we will find another man that will. We are kind and thoughtful and loving and realize that while not everyone is perfect, we all deserve love and respect..you don't get that elsewhere.

I am sorry that you are in the shape you are in. But, it is not a simple thing to explain. It is just a matter of taste. Would you eat something that you do not like? Worms for instance? Well, it is the same for most guys when it comes to large gals. They do not like what they see, or how they feel to the touch. It is simply nature's way. Why not loose the weight? Not that simple is it?
Guys do love big gals. They just do not FALL in love with them. They do not want to see them undressed as a rule. It is nothing personal. It is just the way life is.
Different kind of love I guess.

in todays society its all about the finer things in life. guys are more worried about 1 uppin there friends and tryin 2 get a super model chick from magazines who dont have a lick or personallity or brains, and because they look good this is suppose to be ok. i also believe this is why so many marriages dont work out these days. people only look at whats on the outside and then when they finally get to know the person they realize that the person is a bird brain...
i think everyone deserves a shot from cupid and happiness from the opposite sex

How does "guys hating" relate to an overweight person?
Everyone should be loved and have someone love. That is part of the completion of satisfaction in existing. One would have to know the circumstances influencing this person's life and the person's physical characteristics and personality to give you a reasonably appropriate answer.

I was always the fat girl in school but,I did Ok in the dating department. The smart little cheer leader types all shunned me and were down right mean to me.I went to a class reunion last year (20 yrs.) and guess who was fat, divorced several times and old and unhappy? Not me.I had my average size body (sz.12) My good looking trim husband. The only one I have had,on my arm and happy and proud to be with me.They were alone.Even with a husband. So,cheer up time is on your side.

everyone deserves love, yes.
it is human nature to want someone
healthy and vital, and big doesnt really
fall into that category..we all have appearance
issuse in some way or another, i think looks
shouldnt matter at all but human nature doesnt
allow that. you will find the person that will look
past any flaws and may even be attracted to your
curves. good luck any one that puts you down isnt
worth your time anyways.

Some guys find bigger girls to be a turn-off thinking that they don't take care of themselves. Others find bigger women to be much more interesting than those who are thinner.
One poster mentioned that America is the fattest country on earth. So there's bound to be plus-size guys looking for love, too.
I'm a big girl too in your shoes but trust me, there are guys out there that like big women.
Back in the Medieval and Baroque periods, women in paintings were not thin; rather, they were chunky or "Rubenesque" (a word to describe bigger women coming from artist Peter Paul Rubens' female subjects). Back in that day, men considered bigger women to be more beautiful because they thought they were well fed and healthy (well fed, yes; healthy...not necessarily). One Arab prince (forgot his name) loved big women so much that it was a fetish for him. In fact, he had his own mother fetch him the biggest woman in his kingdom to be his mate/wife/concubine/etc.
Do an image google search on Titian's "Danae" and you'll see my point.
However, being big is not exactly good for your health. I recently lost 30 lbs. but I'm still big so I am active 3-5X a week.
I wish you the best of luck in finding your future mate.

The guys that discriminate girls just because of their size aren't worth being sad over anyway since they're just jerks. Find someone who really cares about you; I mean, look at Zac Efron, he's dating a plus sized girl who starred in "Hairspray" with him, and he says, "She's breathtakingly beautiful on the outside but twice as gorgeous on the inside." =]

I totally agree with you Big girls do need love. Not to say this is true for everyone but I have been told by guys that larger women give it up easier due to their low self esteem.
