Christians: When you picture in your mind two men making out, do you feel some kind of a repulsion?
You know, like similar to when people "squirm" up at the sound of nails on chalkboard?
Do you feel like maybe some of that feeling could be a spiritual feeling, like your heart is telling you that it is wrong?

You're right...nails on a chalkboard IS WRONG!!!

Burn all the nail on chalk boarders!!!!!!!

*marches off with torch and pitchfork*

Seriously though...if we cannot move on from such a stupid subject, then we cannot move on with ourselves. How many people do you see outside of a store protesting theives?? Or outside a courthouse protesting liars?

Just forgive them instead of condemning them to hell.

Actually, I feel a major kind of a repulsion when I think of the fact that a majority of the population living in 2007 still cling to the ludicrous tenets of the christian mythology. I feel sorry for those of you who believe that anything 'unnatural' is wrong. I guess you don't wear clothing because it is unnatural. You also suffer from the idea that sex cannot be enjoyed without being done for the sole intention of procreation. You sound like a real fun bunch of sexually repressed children.

Similar to what someone already said, I am a pro-gay marriage heterosexual atheist, and I can't wait until gay couples get all the rights we do, but I saw two girls hardcore making out and feeling each other up the other day and it seriously, seriously grossed me out. My brain tells me there's nothing wrong with it, but I'm only 22 and how I was raised just hasn't left me yet... thus I am grossed out physically, yet totally fine mentally.

I am sure there were people in the sixties who got sick to their stomach when they saw biracial couples, but understood in their head that there was nothing wrong with it.

I really don't think physical disgust reactions are a sign of subconscious truths, I think they're just learned responses.

Good to know, Bianca. You'll be burning right there with them, for being a hate-filled *****.

I'm a heterosexual, Christian male. I don't have a problem with two men making out. They can't just turn the attraction on and off like a tap, you know - they're attracted to men, and not women, and it's not going to change. It doesn't make the emotion any less real. Therefore, I do not squirm. I don't believe in giving them any preferential treatment or special recognition, but I have absolutely no problem with them expressing their sexuality.

No, this doesn't repulse me. I hope you are not assuming that all heterosexual Christians hate gays. It's just not true. I am a Christian and heterosexual and I feel like God has a purpose for all of us. Who am I to judge homosexuals or what they do? It's just not a very Christian thing to do. I know what the Bible says and I also know that there is more to this world than I am meant to understand. I trust God to love each of us for who we are and lead us down the path we are meant to go on... whatever path that is. If you trust in God, and homosexuality is your path, then who am I to judge.

Fundy Christians sure seem spend a lot of their time imagining what gay folks are doing in the privacy of their own bedrooms. sometimes i wonder if the Christian fixation on gay people is less about concern for gay people's souls than a kind of wistful curiosity about what they're missing. that "squirming" feeling you get is probably some hidden self loathing related to some deeply denied taboo desires.

god worshiping religions do in comparison to homosexuality because of the fact those acts could be committed in public and oftentimes interior the places of worship. The ruler of the time might oftentimes ban the religion and close down the church homes for this. reason being why the Pagan faith were banned at cases. to make sure this would not happen with new religions homosexuality replaced into/is banned or "sinful"

I don't picture it for more than a small moment. The Bible clearly teaches that sex outside of male/female, monogamous marriage is wrong. God created us male and female and blended the two to make children and families.

Biology itself argues its impracticality.

God never forbids anything just to throw His weight around. There are always reasons for our health or emotionally well being or safety. He truly loves us and want the best for us.

No, I don't. I notice you didn't say anything about women. Is your problem only with men? That says volumes to me. You might want to read Matthew 7:1-5.
