Hahahahahahaha! Thanks, i needed that laugh! I'm sure it isn't illegal to visit the captain in general. But they probably wouldn't let you on the plane, in the back. Airplane security these days... Hahahahaha! I can't believe I'm answering this question...

In today's world, yes. There is never nothing to do on an airplane. There are movies, TV, radio, music channels, etc. Bring a book and read, talk to your neighbor...I've never had a boring flight in my life.

Commercial flights have the cockpit doors locked at all times, due to possible terrorist/hijack attacks. . . you would not be able to contact/communicate with the pilot. In short - your answer is no . . . not illegal, just not possible.

i would suspect on international flights yes it would be ---- i have visited the cockpit on a intracity flight --- after the passengers were invited ---- i think you will need to read a book or watch the movie or upgrade to business --- they give you more entertainment there

You will have the "air marshalls" on your back ... take a book or magazine and read it and leave the flying and uninterupted time to the pilot.

I don't think so. I have done it before when I was about 7. But I don't think it is illegal, just unsafe.
