I don't believe the world will end anytime soon, actually. When the sun exhausts its supply of hydrogen for nuclear fusion, and then begins to fuse heavier elements for energy, then it will get serious for life on Earth. But that is not expected to happen for another 4-5 billion years or so.

The only 2 possibilities for an end of the world scenario that I can think of are the Earth getting hit by an asteroid, or human beings engaged in nuclear warfare and the destruction of life that would result from that.

Yes I believe the world will eventually come to an end because the bible says so. God will eventually get tired of the things that go on in the world as he did before when he flooded the earth. If you do not believe in the bible, look at it this way...Depending on how old you are, look back at the world years ago and think of the changes that have taken place since then and imagine those things geting worse. Man will destroy the earth.

Everything Jesus spoke about in Matthew 24 is happening with increased frequency and intensity, as a woman who is about to give birth. Earthquakes, famines, and wars have always happened, but they're becoming more frequent. Also, according to 2 Peter 3:3, in the last days there will be scoffers, walking after their own lusts, saying, where is the promise of His coming? One has only to listen to the news or others to know this scripture is being fulfilled today. God bless you!!!

No, not to my knowledge, unless some crazy freakish asteroid is days away from colliding with Earth, I think we'll be fine for the next few billion years.

Define "the end of the world."

the planet itself isn't going away anytime soon. either in about 4 billion years when the sun becomes a red giant and incinerates the earth or it will be torn apart when the Milkyway and Andromeda galaxies collide in two billion years or so. the is, however, the slight chance that when they do collide, earth will be thrown into interstellar space and will wander the universe as a ball of ice..

Yes...because everything ends. Nothing lasts forever. It may not be in our lifetime, but this world will surely end. The one thing that lives on is the human soul....this cannot be destroyed....Blessings!

Only God knows, but me a little creature--nada.

One thing is for sure there are lots of fires, earthquakes, natural catastrophies more than ever, man made things that are good and not so good.

As humans we are moving far ahead in technology, but that technology will overrule us and we will cease to exist and we will not be masters, but the master will be a microchip.

No, I do not.

I do think Francine's world ended, though.
