i think youre referring to the screen your ps3 takes you to when its powered on. from there you can decide what you want to get yourself into, your games,music,videos,pix, etc.

its a ps3 game system simulation, where you create your own character similar to the sims, and you have your character interact with other ps3 owners. You can join in games using your simulation character. i think you download it off of the ps3 network but i'm not sure.
