I am looking for a movie maker to make an AMV. I've got the music, the clips but now I just need a movie maker. I love iMovie HD and work with it at school, but I don't have a Mac at home. Is there a software as easy and efficient as it made for Windows XP? Hopefully a free to download one? Thanks

You probably have Windows Movie Maker on your XP system. Look for it on your system or download it at http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/updates/moviemaker2.mspx
VirtualDub at http://virtualdub.sourceforge.net/ is a free program that can edit .avi files.
Almost anything else will cost you. Honestech at http://www.honestech.com/main/video_editor_70.asp?path=Graphics%20%26%20Video is an easy to use program for XP that will cost about $50.

Guess what? You can run Mac OS on a windows xp machine in a virtual machine. This would allow you to use the program you love so much.

"Ulead Video Studio 9" might help. If you're looking for a free one you might wanaa try this one- "PiTiVi". But the problem is this software can only be installed in Debian/Linux Operating Systems.
