I was baptized 3 weeks ago(and 2 days), I'm 18.

When I got baptized the branch president told me that Sunday I would get the HS, priesthood, and entered into the quorum as a prospective elder.

Well I only got the HS, and then someone told me they usually give converts the priesthood 3 weeks after the confirmation...

Is that true? If so, will I get it tomorrow? If it's not true, then when will I get it and how will I know?

Congratulations! I don't know exactly how they do it. It probably depends on the branch president. If you don't hear anything about it tomorrow, I would talk with him just to see when and how he was thinking about doing it. You will get it, it is just a matter of when things work out.
When I received the Aaronic priesthood, they did it after church, so I am assuming that is when they will ordain you... Or maybe after sacrament meeting.

The last male adult baptism I went to, it was all done at the same time. Baptism, then confirmation, then priesthood. It was the Aaronic Priesthood of course. You are a Prospective Elder for 1 year after baptism. You are then interviewed by the Bishop/Branch President and it is only then that you are ordained to the office of an Elder in the Melkezedek Priesthood. Then and only then will you be able to go to the temple for yourself. Prior to becoming an Elder, you can do baptisms for the dead at the temple. However, because of your age, you may not be given the Melkezedek Priesthood for a bit longer unless you decide to serve a mission when you are 19.

That's what I've seen anyway and I'm in Texas.

Congratulations on making the right choice to be baptized and receive the priesthood.

I've known some bishops and branch presidents wait for a period of time before ordaining a new convert. However, I've also known General Authorities to counsel bishops and branch presidents to not wait. The instruction they gave was, "If the man is worthy of being baptized then he is worthy of receiving the priesthood. If there is a reason he should not be given the priesthood then perhaps he shouldn't be baptized." Or words to that effect. But the decision is up to your bishop or branch president. There may be factors involved that I am unaware of.

An any rate, I do hope you are ordained soon. Sometimes bishops or branch presidents, with so much on their minds, forget important things. It is okay to humbly remind them that you would like to recieve the priesthood.

What is the HS Priesthood?

You will be ordained a Priest first which is an office of the Aaronic Priesthood. Then sometime later they will ordain you to the Office of Elder and you will recieve the Melchezdic priesthood.

As to when all this will happen, that is between you and your Branch President. The timing is different for everyone- so you need to ask him.

The priesthood is given to someone when they are worthy of it. No amount of time is put to any ordination. You will probably be given the Aaronic priesthood, and ordained to the office of a Priest. When your Branch Pres. feels you are worthy to be called an Elder, he and his councilors will pray about it and discuss it.
You will know because your Branch Pres will bring you into his office and ask you a few questions to make sure you are leading a life worthy of a priesthood holder.

I think you have to have an interview and stuff before hand. I'm a girl but in sacrament, they often say that "so and so has been found worthy to recieve tha Aaronic priesthood(insert office)" and that they will handle it in pristhood meeting. A convert baptized the week after me got it the day he was confirmed. Talk to your bishop or priesthood leader tomorrow.

The Aaronic priesthood is also known as the preparatory priesthood. The offices are (in order)

Deacon
Teacher
Priest

The Melchesideck priesthood can be received after you receive the Aaronic priesthood, however, rarely younger than 18 years of age.

The Aaronic Priesthood can be confered as soon as your hair is dry. But different bishops have different ideas of when this should happen. Bug your bishop and ask him. The Melchizedek Priesthood usually is conferred a few months after baptism. They have to present your name in Stake Conference when you become an Elder. (Now I'm not sure if they do this before or if they can do this after, I've never received this priesthood! =] But I'm fine with that...) Best person to ask this question of is your bishop or branch president.

Hey, good for you. Congratulations. There really is not time frame of when this happens. It is an individual thing and also depends on the inspiration of the branch president. If it did not happen right after your baptism, then it should happen shortly thereafter. If you are concerned about the timing of it, there is nothing wrong about asking fr an interview with the branch president and go over goals with him.
