The only prohibition against intermarriage has to do with pagan vs. believer marriages. Interracial marriages between like-minded individuals is not against any biblical commandment.

The Old Testament law commanded the Israelites not to engage in interracial marriage (Deuteronomy 7:3-4). The reason for this is that the Israelites would be led astray from God if they intermarried with idol worshippers, pagans, or heathens. A similar principle is laid out in the New Testament, but at a much different level: “Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?” (2 Corinthians 6:14). Just as the Israelites (believers in the one true God) were commanded not to marry nonbelievers, so Christians (believers in the one true God) are commanded not to marry unbelievers. To answer this question specifically, no, the Bible does not say that interracial marriage is wrong.
A person should be judged by his or her character, not by skin color. All of us should be careful not to show favoritism to some, nor be prejudiced or racial to others (James 2:1-10, see especially verses 1 and 9). A Christian man or woman's standard for selecting a mate should always be to find out if the person they are interested in is a Christian (2 Corinthians 6:14), someone who is born again by faith in Jesus Christ (John 3:3-5). Faith in Christ, not skin color, is the Biblical standard for choosing a spouse. Interracial marriage is not a matter of right or wrong, but of wisdom, discernment, and prayer.
The only reason interracial marriage should be considered carefully is because of the difficulties a mixed-race couple may experience because others will have a hard time accepting them. Many interracial couples experience discrimination and ridicule, sometimes even from their own families. Some interracial couples experience difficulties when their children have skin tones of different shades from the parents and/or siblings. An interracial couple needs to take these things into consideration and be prepared for them, should they decide to marry. Again, though, the only Biblical restriction placed on whom a Christian can marry is whether the other person is a member of the Body of Christ.

I have never found in the bible anything that implies against interracial relationships and I am sure that whoever has told you that hasn't taken the time to look for themselves. I have actually never heard this idea. Christians shouldn't have anything against interracial relationships, which actually occur in the bible. For example, Ruth married a man of a completely different culture with a different religion. IF I were you I would forget this idea because there is no evidence in the bible that I have heard of that back up this claim. Good luck and God bless you.

I believe this kind of relationship was not prohibited. I think racists are reading it into thr Bible when it is not there!
Any one who says God is prohibiting interracial relationships is missing the point of "love others"!
The only reason God commanded the Israelites not to engage in interracial marriage at that time (Deuteronomy 7:3-4) was so they would stay in their Hebrew faith.
"The reason for this is that the Israelites would be led astray from God if they intermarried with idol worshippers, pagans, or heathens."
So my Jewish mother marrying a Christian was more undefended in scripture, even though they were both white.
Race is of no consequence, except for recessive genes (if you want children who LOOK like your family) and different agendas of racial groups.

I don't think there are bible versus against interracial relationships.
But I can tell you that in my opinion they don't work.
My first husband was Portuguese and I'm white and I was heavily discriminated against by every member of his family throughout the entire 3 years of marriage to him because of it.
Their culture and beliefs were completely different from mine and since I wasn't willing to back down and assume the role of subservient wife and in-law they made my life a living hell.
And I think that's why interracial relationships don't work.
It's not because the spouse is racist but usually their family members are and the different belief systems always clash between the two.

No, there is not anything about that in scripture. And there wouldnt be, as God says we are all created equal. Race doesnt matter. PERIOD. In fact if you view the Bibles description of Jesus, He isnt a lily white person, so all these ppl that are white racists claming to be Christian will not be blessed by God. The Bible says Jesus has hair of wool, curly, HELLO, and His skin is bronze, HELLO, and in that part of the country, what is the Bible saying.?? HE is a black Jew. dark skinned jew. So folks if you would love a dark skinned Jesus, you have a problem.
In the Bible it doesn refer to being unequally yoked, and for years , ppl say thats what this verse means, about the fact interracial marriages are wrong. NO NO NO>
If you read it all, it is describing why we should not marry someone of another faith, or even in the same faith if we are unequally yoked, not on the same page. For a strong Baptist to marry a strong Pentacostal, there will be problems in the marriage, as they dont agree on scripture. God is trying to prevent problems and divorce. He hates divorce.
He knows one person can so easily destroy the faith of another if they arent like minded. being of the same faith...
So if you know someone planning to marry outside their race, you let them know God is not against that. But ppl in the world are today, as racism is still real and still very ugly. So it can mean a lifetime of hardships , but if they couple are prepared to deal with it and all the society will often put their cildren thru, then it is their choice to make. I also know that the world wont change its beliefs unless some begin to see interracial marriages and see how loving and wonderful they can be. God wants our hearts. and it is never about skin color. God bless you for the question IF this isyou you ask about, I can only say God bless you again. IF we love God and obey Him and are faithful, He will always be faithful to us.
LEt us know how you are.... Bless you again.....Have a great day today in the Lord.

There is no verse in the bible that talks about interracial relationships. Its just a lie that a few people thought of and eventually got popular.

As has been said, the only Biblical mandate is that a believer not mary an unbeliever. "Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?" ~II Corinthians 6:14
One practical thought, though, is that marriage is an adjustment of 2 totally independant lives coming together & living in harmony. The dimensions of inter-racial marriage just add 1 more area of adjustment. It is not at all impossible to overcome, but the couple needs to be aware of that 1 additional area of challenge that lies ahead in their marriage.

Not that I can see at all. Moses was married to a black women. The only thing in the Bible that God didn't want the children of Isreal to do was to marry those who worshipped false gods, etc. When they moved into a place, they weren't really supposed to intermarry with the people who lived there because they would like take on the false god worshippers habits and thoughts.

You don't find it, because you too blinded to see it. RACE is from Genesis to Revelation. Mixed marriages are not even marriages and Yahweh formed a special covenant with Phinehas for running an Israelite through with a Javelin. But you don't really care do you. You just FODDER for the fire?? Right?
