There are many reasons that one eye may go blurry, but your situation always has the same response: You need to see an eye doctor IMMEDIATELY.

Do not delay. Do not wait until after the weekend. Even if the blurriness has gone, you need to see an eye doctor. If one is not available, go to an urgent care center. Do not drive. Have someone take you, call a cab, ask a friend.

One eye going blurry can be a sign of serious problems that deal with more than just your vision. Call now.

contacts cant' cause ocular migraines. i get migraine adn its the same whether I wear contacts or not. Its normal for your doctor to refer you to a neurologist if you get migraine as its difficult to diagnose and you need help and support to reduce the amount of times they happen. there is no need to be frightened - your doctor is getting you the best support. Migraines are a real nusiance but they are controllable with help. Blurry vision can be a first sign of migraine but auras tend to be more sparkles round things and bits missing out of your vision ( I get them). 5/6 hours a day isn't very logn to wear contacts and you have a break once a week. Self diagnosing is very common with migraines but its probalbay better to try and stay off the site before you see the neurologist so you answer his questions without beign affected by what you have read.

are you seeing double? I recentlly began to have blurry vision and seeing double letters and went to the eye doctor and I have cataracts. I am quite young to have cataracts! But thankfully He says surgery will give me my 20/20 vision again. And my insurance pays for it. But check it out. He says pollution, sun lots of things can cause cataracts.

YIKES! Could be a detached retina, which can cause blindness. Better call a doc.
