My family is Catholic, although one of my sisters converted to Lutheranism, on the part of her husband is Lutheran. I'm actually non-religious right now (with pagan leanings), still searching for a religion I guess, or at least a spirituality I can feel home in. I deal with it OK. In my family we don't talk about religion that much, so no problems or conflicts there. I participate in events like Christmas and Easter though, because they are my family.

I am the only religious person in my family. I am a Christian and the rest of my family, well they are either Agonistic or Athesit. It can be really hard to jsut get through the day with them. They curse and say His name in vain all the time. I speak up sometimes, but they just do not understand. Sometimes, I think that they just do it to see if I will talk. It is hard talking about my faith with them, because they just don't understand. But, in the end, it is all worth it. I have to live my life for Jesus. I have to try my best to live the life.

Well, I'm an atheist. My dads agnostic. He was a was a firm believer in letting us find our own way in religion and what we believed. My mom I don't know. (never comes up) my older and younger sister Christian, Aunts family is Christian, Baptist. My husbands family is Catholic.... Family get together are family get together. If I am at my aunts I respect her prayer before the meal, I've gone to mass with my sister in laws. I respect their beliefs. And we keep quiet about my mine.

Yes, we are Christian, and most all of our familys are non believers, which has made things very difficult. Caused many problems until God showed us, it was ok to not do holidays with ppl that only drink and party and fight, with no mention of God at all. Its not tolerated well. So God showed us let them have their celerations of the holidays in their absolute heathen ways, and we can have our things with ourselfes or church family. We made it clear and thats what we do IF we see them, its not on holidays. Just couldnt take the sheer blashphemy of it anymore, and they will even mock ppl that believe, so it was time to take some serpation once God showed us it was ok and the thing to do> God blesses if we will only listen, hear and obey. Thanks great question. I pray many will realize this this year, and not go to holiday things and have a horrible time with family that wont be on the same page with God. we can love and forgive them, but we dont have to be around it. It doesnt honor God to be a part of such unholiness, even with family. God bless ya.

Most of my mother's family is Assemblies of God, and my mother doesn't go to church, but still believes a lot of it.

I'm Pagan, and have been for ten years. What's weird is, I'm the oldest of my cousins, and it's like I opened the door for all "the Cousins" to examine and choose their own beliefs. My brother calls himself an "apatheist" (doesn't care about God), one of my cousins is a more liberal Christian, one is agnostic, and one doesn't know what he believes but is sure God's not what his parents and pastor tell him. We cousins all try to love and support each other, so that helps a lot.

Our parents just shake their heads, try to understand, and pray for us a lot. The arguments aren't as frequent and intense as they used to be.

A existence lived in worry is a existence 0.5-lived. what's so terrifying approximately thelling htem? Are they like the Manson kin? I dislike disagreement, yet this is going to existence-stunting lengths.

I'm atheist, fathers non-denominational Christian who thinks I'm a..."Christian-in-the-closet" (ew) my whole mothers side is Catholic....

I usually just keep quiet...my mother and father knows what I am (atheist) and grudgingly accept it as "their punishment for not being good parents" or whatever, my mother's side does not know because my grandmother would literally have a heart-attack if she finds out (she still thinks I'm a good little Catholic boy....once again...ew) So...just keep quiet....that's all I can say....
