my friend smoked pot once, and all his friends do it so i am afraid he will do it again. is that something to be concerned about, i know its like a "normal part of teen life" or whatever but i dont think it will be just one time. he is a freshman in high school. i already talked to him, he got really mad, said i dont know what i'm talking about... was that a good thing to do or did i overreact?

another thing, i just met him in august, we dont have any classes or anything, so i have no excuse to talk to him unless i deliberately find him.... which i can't really do because he will think i am a stalker. we don't have any drug testing at my school. and the part i feel worst about is that i found out from just a little off-comment he told me, when he actualy TRUSTED me. and i havent told anyone or anything, but he doesnt trust me to not jump on him every time he does something...

tell him you didn't mean to piss him off, that he is your best friend and you just worry about him because you love him so much!
I don't know where you live but they have random drug testing in our schools, this could get him in trouble cause you never know when the computer will pull your name to be tested!

Pot, in it's self, isn't addictive. It's the feeling of mild euphoria, of well being, of hightened awareness and understanding that can be addictive. I am certainly not encouraging you to use it, in fact, if you have strong feelings against it, for you, you are right not to. Just don't worry about your boyfriend, he won't start foaming at the mouth, or become a homicidal maniac. Worst scenario is, he gets busted.

you have a right to your opinion, and the fact that he got mad, would indicate to me that you are probably right. Guys don't generally get mad unless they know that they are doing something they shouldn't. he over reacted, not you.

No it was not wrong to talk to him about it. but yes maybe you should worry a bit because if he did it once that means hes not that strong minded to say no another time.
