Try and take the focus off yourself. You might try some volunteer work at a homeless shelter or a local animal shelter they can always use the help. You can visit senior centers they will love the company. Get involved with the world around you there are lots of people who can use a hand up or a kind person to talk to that could be you.
Don't be afraid to put yourself out there join a church they are always needing help with something and looking for volunteers and you will meet a whole group of new friends. Good luck.

Maybe you can find one of those places that can test you for what your interests are and what you'd be good at. I do know how you feel about not feeling fulfilled. Just don't get a job that's below your capabilities because you'll feel in the end that you wasted your life.

get a grip. You are too young to have experienced 1/1,000,000,000,000 nth of the things you can see, know, and explore in the world. Don't worry, when you least expect it , life can get more interesting than you want it to be. As to people being as "smart" as you are,; trust me, there are plenty of people males and females as smart as you and smarter. Don't limit yourself to only relating to people you deem your intellectual equal.

Intelligence has nothing to do with happiness. Most often, happy people are those who are persuing their passions. Find something you love to do and do it the best way you can. If love is your passion, find ways to show people you love them. If helping people is your passion, do all you can. If photography is your passion, take pictures of everything you see in the most beautiful way. If cooking is your passion, cook for friends and neighbors, and share recipes. The best way to be happy yourself is to make others happy. It's one of those contagious things.
Best luck to you [ :
