I would like to edit my photos to get the defects and all out of them to post them on my websites and stuff
Where could i get a free program to do this?
Also if i wanted to make cool banners or something where could i get a free program?

Its true.
Evaluate the photos youve taken & learn from them what not to do.
Unless youre restoring an old photo, take the photo correctly to begin with.
I will disagree to an extent about the software being useless.
I was able to use Elements 5.0 & partially bring color back to old family photos that were evenly faded. Foggy patches in photos were pretty much out of luck though.
I find that 2 programs have 1 or 2 easy repair features I really like.
So I basically fix some using 1 software then transfer the file to the other software.
It doesnt appear to degrade the image any.
