i wonder what happens to the tv schedule at that time, do shows get repeated because the hours repeat or does it just keep going..
i never thought about that before. any one have any ideas about this one? 10 pts up for grabs ;]

I've thought about that almost everytime I've had to set the clocks ahead. They just keep going, and because there is dead airtime on TV, taken up by informercials...it ends up that when you wake up at 10:00 am, all the shows are exactly the same.

Thats why everything gets rescheduled in the fall
If you notice the end of the season is repeats and then when the new fall shows come out there all on new days and time schedules Haven't you ever noticed that?

I just checked out the preview channel on DishTV and the shows that run at that time show that they will run for two hours, but it will really be only an hour. After that, everything gets back on schedule.
Monday's episode of General Hospital on SoapNet usually starts at 1:00 ands ends at 2:00. They show it starting at 1:00 and ending at 3:00. Seems like two hours, but is not really because of the loss of the one hour.

I think they might just make or take away an extra hour of random tv in order to keep the shows at the same times.

The time changes, but most TV providers change it during like 1 or 2 in the morning so that it doesn't bother most people.

They just put extra programming on. I have never seen the exact same episode of the exact same show repeated. (That would be WAY too much like Groundhog Day.) lol
Lots of infomercials too.

The stations adjust for the time change, scheduling the shows accordingly.

A 1 hour programme that started at 1:30am BST would finish at 1:30am GMT.
