Any first hand knowledge of what either or both of these treatments have or have had,?
Handled the double masectomy okay and the liklehood that only chemotherphy tablets would be required. But when told that further surgery to remove more lymph nodes, and that chemo or radiation would be needed didn't make for a good time.

Sorry you have to have further surgery.

I had my lymph nodes removed when I had my mastectomy, and 13 of them were affected.

People respond differently to chemo. I had FEC chemo, and I've described my experience and given my advice in answer to this recent question

If there's anything else you'd like to ask me, just email.

Radiotherapy is tedious but much easier than chemo. For me the only side effect was fatigue.

In exactly a month it will be four years since my diagnosis and I'm fit and well.

Good luck with your treatment
