Yes...I usually get them around my head when I come down with an infection. Drink lots of water.

Yes, I have. It is not usually something you would have to be worried about, however if it persists more than a few days, I would get it checked out. Swelling of the lymph nodes is a process that the body does to fight infection. For example, when you get a sore throat, you will notice that your lymph nodes in your neck may be swollen. They are a filter of sorts and help trap bacteria and viruses
If the swelling is under your arm or in the groin area, you may want to have it checked out right away, but as I said, it is usually just the bodies response to an infection and most of the time it is nothing to be worried about.

Yes. (Noting the placement of this question with in the cancer category) -- You don't have to have cancer to have a swollen lymph node, and the swollen lymph node just means that you're fighting an infection somewhere. It doesn't necessarily mean the lymphatic system is responding to or infected with cancer.
