THAT is precisely where you draw the line----when their burdens become burdensome to you.
I am not talking about feeling empathy for someone, but more like when their burdens become your burdens because they are draining you dry and they don't seem to want things to get better because they are enjoying the attention (or other things) more than if they actually GOT BETTER.

Sometimes you just have to look a person squarely in the eye and state clearly, "NO, I'm sorry, but I can't do it now."
In other words, learn to say no when you really need to.
I've often become over-burdened with the woes of others to the point where it made me physically and emotionally sick.
As Christians, we are told to help others and we feel terrible when we don't.
But if you extend yourself too far for others, you will be too tired and confused to help them or be healthy yourself.
That word NO is in the dictionary for a reason. Use it.

God has called us to do His will & purpose.
We can get caught up In many Good Godly things.
But If you allow people to steal your joy you can't be effective In what God has called you to do.
God didn't call you to do everything, but He did call you to do something.
Ask God to remove things or people that aren't adding to your life.Continue to pray for these people.
Pray that God will bring His healing restoration to your soul and a refreshing of the Holy Spirit til It overflows...Blessings

Discernment, wisdom, prayer - in relationships, friends, companions - there is almost always a breaking point.
If you have to ask, you're probably already there.

When you find yourself on the roof, screaming "I can't take it anymore" and the stars stay in the same position.
