my friends playing ,shooting at each othre? with safety glasses on?
i painted the front black too, instead of orange.
it looks like real 9mm gun

You could walk into the park with the thing painted bright pink and if the cop felt like shooting a kid today....There ya go..
Why paint it black????
Never mind...If they want to gun you down they will just do it and put a real gun in the corpses hand....

I'd definitely suggest against it. There are way too many chances of bad things happening. If the wrong person mistook it for a real gun, you have the chance of looking up close AT a real gun. Police officers react to the worst POSSIBLE situation...and if it LOOKS like a real gun, then it IS a real gun to them.
On another note, safety glasses do not make everything better when shooting BB guns. My college roommate thought it would be fun to shoot BBs at people's feet, and hit a girl in the face from about 100 yards away. That's a football field's distance. She STILL has the pellet lodged in her cheek, and that was 10 years ago.
I know it seems like fun and games, but BB guns are NOT TOYS.

Do not point this thing at any person. That is the 1st rule to having a real gun. If u use this weapon to rob a bank u will go to jail for 20 years. Use it with a target at a range. or if u cant go to the range you need several acres that has trees no people. put a target in front of a saw horse and shoot at the target not people or animals at all this is a criminal offense. never think it is a toy at all. It is not this is the first step. You should learn how to use a gun but, your dad should teach u how. Sorry guns just freak me out. I was shot with a 4 10 and it hurts. guns are not toys.

That is the dumbest question I ever saw anyone ask on this page. Why would you ever want to bring a gun (any kind) to a park. Besides the fact that you could hurt someone who is just there having fun with their children, you could get shot by the wonderful Law Enforcement that would only be doing their job. GET A CLUE!!!

YOU CAN TAKE THE BB GUN TO THE PARK AND PLAY ALL DAY.
BEWARE OF OTHERS IN THE PARK.
BB GUNS HAVE KILLED PEOPLE.TAKEN EYES OUT WHEN SHOT AT, PENETRATED THE SKIN. THIS IS A DANGEROUS TOY REALLY.
YOUR PAINTING THE FRONT SIGHT IS REALLY DUMB. IF AND OFFICER GETS A CALL ABOUT A MAN WITH A GUN, IN THIS DAY AND AGE OF KIDS AND GUNS ETC., NEED I ELABORATE ANY MORE.

Is it illegal? No
Is it smart? No. People not knowing what is happening are going to call the police. The police are going to come and contact you, probably at gun point. You will be proned out on the ground, handcuffed, and questioned. If you make a wrong move you maybe shot! If your underage you can get taken into custody until your parents arrive.
Not worth the headaches!

It is most likely illegal, depending on where you live.
Moreover, it is definitely STUPID! By removing the orange tip from your toy, you are greatly increasing your chances of getting shot by a real gun.
