I am making a documentary of myself going to a foreign cuntry, and would like to take footage of myself on the plane, looking out into the window or watching tv. I know you can't use it during take-offs and landings, but just to be positive, is there any risk of trouble? *ie the alarm goes off because of waves from a cell phone

I already knew the fact, that some people don't want to be in a movie. I've been doing this for a long time. Just the answer would be great, thanks.

I would talk to the flight crew about boarding early. they would let you photo yourself seated, and looking out the window. A flight attendent might even be willing to "bring you a drink". All of this is easily done prior to the plane filling up with people. Taking cabin shots while in the air on a commercial flight would be a tabu i would not cross. a couple of out the window shots would be acceptable.

most airlines have a specific policy concerning use of either generic electronic devices or camcorders specifically. Check with the head office.

there is no alarm if some using a cellphone on the airplane
(the only alarm that I know is in the Lavatory if someone tries
to light cig)
you might want to contact the airline before your flight
as there might be passengers who may not wish to be in your movie)
