What exactly are you asking?
If you want to be super general the common ancestor is single celled organisms that appeared about 3.8 billion years ago.
Apes ARE NOT our ancestors. They are current organisms. Humans and other apes share a common ancestor that no longer exists.
(It is possible to believe in evolution by the hand of God. I am a doing it right now......)

Adam and Eve with a severe bottleneck at Noah and his sons and their wives. Even the DNA evidence suggests that the most recent universal ancestor of humans is 50,000 years ago and that the female is 200,000 years ago. This is again consistent with the Bible record of Noah, his 3 sons and the sons 3 wives.
As for the mention of Lucy she fell off the human ancestor tree after detailed anatomical studies were allowed of the skeleton .

We do, yes. You mean our living cousins? I don't want them caged except for survival purposes (certain species, like the amur leopard, down to 50 or less in the wilds of Russia).
