mostly likely it's the combination of your diet and training. constantly increasing training intensity is always a good thing. many people also decrease the calories too low too fast. this also causes an already slow metabolic rate to further decrease. when on a low calorie diet the source of nutrients is just as important as the calories themselves. the less man-made foods in your diet the better off you will be in the short and long term.
but with 2 daily sessions of cardio my guess with the information that you have provided is that your current caloric intake is too low to permit weight (fat) loss

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.
I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.
It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

It's frustrating, isn't it? I've always found that the easiest way to break that endless, days-long "plateau" is to enjoy my favorite meal. Not a binge-- you don't eat whatever you want in unchecked quantities, you simply relax the strict "diet" for one evening. Next morning, it's back to business.
The bottom line in breaking the barrier is to make a *change* in your routine-- whatever that may be. This is a perfect example of an instance where we just need to give our body.... as well as our mind-- a "break".
Usually within 36 hours you'll find scale is moving downward, once again.
Good Luck, and keep up the great work!

Increase your intensity and or your duration and just keep going..you *will* get past it. I once hit a plateau and after I reassessed my eating plan, I strapped on a 30 pound back pack and jogged for 5 miles a day for an entire week to get over that sticking point. Don't get discouraged..as you get closer and closer to your weight goal you'll find you hit them more often...keep going...good luck

EASY! Change up your work out routine! Chances are that your body has adapted to your routine (muscle memory). It doesn't require much, lighter weights, higher reps or heavier weights, less reps which I advise even for women). Also, make sure you really are pushing yourself hard enough while working out...and be sure not to overtrain! Also, you really should take a good look at your food you eat. What you 'think' may be healthy may actually be your demise! AND...drink water! and then, drink water!! Water flushes the fat out of your system so if your not gettin enough... you can not flush it out! P.S.--- DO NOT DRINK YOUR CALORIES AND DO NOT EAT AFTER SUPPER *********

Add some protein to your diet at lunch like a small piece of chicken or a hard boiled egg and increase exercise with a new type of exercise for 20 min every other day. that should help, oh yeah drink more H2O.
