*lol* All three are concepts you eventually should grow out of.
An adult praying to god is like still waiting for Santa when you're thirty.

If you choose to believe or not to believe in Santa of the Easter Bunny, it was no big deal. So you missed out on some presents or some chocolate candy eggs.
Your choice about God reflects your eternal destination. I believe even you would agree that is infinitely more important than presence or chocolate eggs. If you are wrong about God than you lose so much more. You must be absolutely certain you are right. You can not say that God does not exist unless you have searched for Him. Then, if you still don't find Him, you must ask someone who has. Only then can you be absolutely certain He doesn't exist.
Jesus, who is every bit equal with God gave up everything for you. He who was all powerful, all knowing, and omnipresent gave it all up and came in the form of sinful man and died the death you deserved so that you could have the life that was His. The least you could do is find out if He really exists or not. Unless, of course, it is too much trouble.

I don't blame anyone for not choosing to believe in God. It is a choice that you make. You know the difference between who santa is. Someone that is dressed up for Christmas time. The easter bunny is someone who is is dressed up as a bunny.God, santa, and the easter bunny has nothing to do with God. It seems that you do know who God is, but giving an excuse to why you shouldn't believe. You can blame santa and the easter bunny on it if you want to, thos both things are fake. Don't make other people doubt their belief in Jesus Christ. God Bless

you know, not ALL of santa was BS -- there was a part of that myth that fueled your imagination, helped you grow and understand the world.
Now, YOU are old enough to understand certain things, but you mustn't go ratting out Santa to all the little kids around you who still need to go through that developmental stage, in order to get to where you are now.
So, in a funny way, by finally understand and by not believing in Santa, you understand why you need to "act as if there IS a Santa" around certain people (kids).
I think you see where i am going.
We have an expression in the Jewish faith, kind of a two-word explanation for "why all the laws and rules and God syas this and God says that...isn't it enough to lead a good moral life and not be looking over your shoulder all the time...."

I guess youre saying this because you've never seen God, Santa, the toothe fairy, or anything of the such. While Santa and the Tooth fairy are obviously fake what is the real reason you don't believe in God? No I don't blame you I dont feel sorry for you and I dont resent you. I respect you and your descision. I'm a Christian not because I think it's cool It;s cause there's real reasoning behind it.

Religion is more of a way of life. It keeps people happy. Truly believing someone is out there listening to us and guiding us in the right direction sounds strange, but it keeps people content. I wouldn't blame you at all for thinking its all bullsh*t. I question all religions and how they became religions in the first place. But I think what really keeps people happy is hope. I don't think anybody should close off the possibility that someone else is out there. Or not so much someone like "god" is on the otherside, but that there is an afterlife at all. Answer my new question.

It is your choice not to believe. You have free will, just like I do. You have it because God gave it to you. If you want to believe you came from some goop on the ground, and you are related to snails and earthworms, then, that is your choice. I can only tell you the truth, and that is Jesus Christ is Lord, and if you believe in Him, you will have eternal life. It won't be a life like this one. It will be soooooooooooooo much better! Why wouldn't you want that? I suppose you have some reason.

Yeah, and they want us to believe in an invisible guy who will watch you even in the bathroom and is vengeful and doesn't like women and who also always says, whenever something goes wrong, "What? Me? Oh, no. That was Satan." At least Darwin didn't threaten to punish us.

A child must grow up and learn what to believe in. While I understand your point I have no power to blame you. God will hold you accountable for what he has revealed to you.

But they never woke you up in the morning, forgave you for your sins or died on a cross for you. See the difference?
