In ancient languages letters and numbers are interchangeable. 666 is a symbolic number. The numbers spell out Caesar Nero.
Besides 7 means perfection and one less, 6, is imperfection. Three 6's is the most imperfect.
And the Book of Revelation is apocalyptic literature and has to be read that way. It is highly symbolic in a stylized way.

Numerological symbology is used inconsistently throughout the bible. Many think the 666 refers to Nero, others to the tri-partite Mother Goddess who reigned in that part of the world before patriarchy. 6 is the number of motherhood. There's also a pretty complex system of using words and numbers in reading Hebrew that didn't make sense when the book was translated into other languages.

yeah.... so if God created 3 universes in 6 days each .... then God is the anti-Christ himself.

So now instead of having 3 persons in God, we have 4.... God is more like .... wait.... its still a cross.... one edge for each...

The Father, The Holy Ghost, Jesus Christ, Anti-Christ

Wooooow... that will make an awesome religion!
