I think your lease is up at 36 months better check to make sure. Nissan North America Finance and Leasing is just a phone call away week days. I have heard of 24 month 36 month and 48 month leases not 39 month could happen I guess? I purchase cars because I keep them 10 years

Leases can be really tricky. I would immediately call the company you are leasing the car from. We have leased vehicles for our business (trucks) and pretty much found out that we wound up on the short end of the stick and don't do it anymore.
It is possible that there was something in the lease that said 05/0808. It could have anything to do with the lease agreement, miles on the car or anything.
Don't wait a second too long and call the company your lease is through!!
Good luck, these things usually work themselves out!!!
