(My other uncle told me Paul would say anything to get the Romans to join his Church Empire: and the Romans preferred short hair for men, so Paul was kissing up to the Romans to get them to join. -- The Romans also said no way to circumcism, so Paul said no sweat join my Church Empire and I will make up some other story about how this is a new deal.

Dear "Mental" - Are you even suggesting that Jesus would care about the length of a man's hair? - If yes, it sounds very petty, and not like the Sermons, parables, and other advice from Jesus.

Aunt Andrian just taught me something about Paul.
She said, "Paul was just a man trying to do what he thought was right and that none of us gets it right all the time. " -- Okay, maybe Paul was not really "kissing up" to the Romans, maybe he really thought he was doing the right thing. ....... I know how it feels, cause sometimes I get in trouble for trying to do the right thing and then it turns out wrong. --- smiles

Sweetie love your uncle and all people just as they are and always remember that Paul was just a man trying to do what he thought was right and that none of us gets it right all the time.
And give your hairy (((uncle))) big hugs for me...
Sweet little cowboy, I can't take credit for that. Someone very dear to me had to teach me first.

What could be unnatural about long hair? Hair grows naturally.
Paul never knew Jesus, and perverted his teachings. He didn't like a lot of things - women, long hair, sex - so he created proscriptions against things that Jesus never addressed.
And the bible does say "judge not lest ye also be judged" or words to that effect. You have no right to consider anything anyone does as sin. You aren't 'god'. You only have responsibility to make your own choices.

I don't believe Jesus had long hair like we are use to seeing on Him in pictures and paintings. I believe He would have followed the short hair rule for Jewish men written by His Father Yahweh in the Laws of Moses. He didn't look any different in a crowd to be picked out by the Romans when they came to arrest Him.

Really? Jesus had long hair? You have a photo of him with long hair or something? Or is there a Bible Verse that says so? Because I've never seen one...all the images of Jesus with long hair are the same as him being white...they reflect the people that made the images, not Jesus the man himself.

i think of human beings indexed right here are misconstruing the version between dogmatic concept and ethical suggestions. human beings would desire to unavoidably make the excellence between non secular concept and ethical concept. a pair human beings expressed here evaluations: "i've got faith that the guy shouldn't would desire to wreck his faith for his interest." "If the regulation does no longer take care of the rights of a Christian and that a Christian can no longer prepare their ideals under the secure practices of the regulation, then Christian ideals perchance destroyed by using the regulation." a minimum of in this usa NO regulation would help any given non secular dogmatic place. no remember if Christian, Muslim, or regardless of. some religions profess the "concept' that a man or woman won't get a blood transfusion. would those self same human beings declare that a minor would desire to be allowed to DIE only because of the fact the mum and dad do no longer "have faith" in blood transfusions? and many others blend up the assumption of being compelled to compromise ethical concept by using direct action OR the be allowed to discriminate against somebody who has a valid distinction in non secular concept. One man or woman subsequently commented approximately abortion: "Its in all possibility solid that the guy no longer works there. Its too undesirable yet to be anticipated. you be attentive to, as a nurse, my employer can no longer tension me to help with an abortion." the area dealing with the "intercourse therapist" became no longer no remember if he (or she) would DO some thing, yet WHO that some thing would be completed with. a man or woman refusing to take part in an abortion is massively distinctive from one that would prepare discrimination against a man or woman by using refusing A provider they're completely prepared to accomplish for somebody else. I say it is approximately time that judges are finally ruling against people who would prepare unjust discrimination against others basically in keeping with ones sexual orientation. I applaud this judges decision. it is approximately time that non secular bigotry based upon sexual orientation is finally seen unjust under the regulation.

Who cares if your uncle has long hair? Is he a good man with good morals and a love for all things righteous? If so then it doesn't matter if his hair is long, short, brown, purple, green, or if he's bald. Judge not lest ye be judged.

I'd still have long hair if I wasn't balding (and if I didn't have massive patches of alopecia areata all over my head.)
Paul was a muppet.

the deal is, that Jesus doesn't judge you on your hair........ he judges you by what is written on your heart, and if he is there, the hair don't matter..........
