maybe with 4 wheel drive but a 4 cylinder nissan can hardly handle the snow, let alone a snow plow. ask a manufacturer of snow plows for better advice.

If it is a 4x4, with a good low range transfer case, it should be okay.
To improve the performance, you may want to lower the low range of the transfer case (T/C), and/or put lower gears (higher numerically) in the axles.
There were plenty of 4 cylinder Jeep CJ's pushing plows, with a lot less power than a 4 cylinder Nissan pickup. The trick is in the gearing, you don't need horsepower, you need lot of low speed torque.

It can handle a snow plow, but it may have some trouble handling snow, too.
Snow is really heavy, and a 4 cylinder will have trouble pushing it.

It will be tough on the clutch and transmission. And if it is not a 4x4 keep the plowing for more powerfull trucks.

I had a '91 4x2, and although it always fired up in the winter and the heater was always warm, that engine is not geared for much load. Check that owners manual to be sure.

No a four cylinder is not powerful enough, and your transmission to not built for that. nor is the front end. Get a stronger truck.
