How does she react to ice cubes? Maybe she will enjoy that. Or try putting some sort of flavor in the water. Just make sure whatever you put in the water is low in sugar and definitely low in salt.
It could be possible that she doesn't like drinking from a bowl too. Maybe try a water bottle like this: http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2754655&cp=2767032&pg=2&fbn=Taxonomy%7CDog&f=Taxonomy%2FPET%2F2767032&fbc=1&categoryId=2767032&kw=water&parentPage=search&keepsr=1

Generally if she's eating well she'll drink enough. If she is on canned food, which contains a lot of moisture, she'll drink less also. Some dogs are not big water drinkers. It sounds like your Chi has a touchy stomach. I'd only feed what the vet recommends and stay away from diet changes, treats, and people food. Just make sure her water is always fresh, clean and easy to get at. Try several water bowls around the house--she may be afraid of the area where her bowl is kept.

One of my dog's doesn't drink enough water either. I give him more wet dog food than the others and mix water into it along with Iams. I have also at times had to use a syringe type device to force more water down him... that has been when he has been sick. Other than that, I really don't know.
You CAN tell if she is dehydrated by pulling up on the nape of the neck, the back of the neck that momma dogs use to carry their pups. If the skin snaps back to normal pretty quickly, then she is not dehydrated. If it kind of stays in a pinched risen fashion, then she is. It doesn't hurt them and you don't have to pull up hard just pull up gently.
Best to you both!!!

Add some water to her food, kind of like a gravy. She'll get what she needs that way.
I also found that I was using a plastic dog bowl for my puppy and once I switched to porcelain bowls, she started drinking a lot more! I'm guessing that the cheap plastic bowl was leeching something or at the least a smell that kept her away. Might want to try switching it out or cleaning it more frequently.

A baby dropper of water at least twice a day, it's not hard to give her. If she's eating try mushing her food. It'll raise the water content and she'll get hydrated by eating. Try switching to a "bottle" type water instead of the tap. It doesn't have to be expensive water. My dog won't drink the city water because it smells/tastes like bleach.

I lived in a similarly 'haunted' house, too. But I am a born-again Christian and they could not hurt me. Only God can command them to leave. You need to establish a person to Person relationship with God through His Son Jesus Here is how: 1. Renounce Satan and all his works. 2. Confess your sins to God the Father. 3. Receive Jesus as your Savior. 4. Serve God with all of your life. 5. Live with God and Jesus forever. Once you have this relationship established you can pray to God in Jesus' name and ask Him for help, and He will help you. Demons do not have to obey you, but they do have to obey God..

try feeding your CHIHUAHUA a better quality food.
do you know exactly how much she is drinking each day?
any time a pet especially a small breed pet is sick with vomiting and diarrhea, they are prone to being dehydrated, so it could be that she is drinking enough each day.
you could also try feeding canned food if you are concerned that shes not drinking enough.
better quality foods: wellness, california natural, canidae, solid gold, merrick, innova, natures variety, honest kitchen, or wysong.

Maybe your dog doesn't like water, i know this sound weird but dogs like humans sometimes don't like their food or find it boring(they get easily tired of eating it or drinking). The difference between humans and animals is that we can express this and make our own choices, and we also have a variety of drinks (coke, milk, juices, etc) I would suggest that you try giving your dog some milk and watch closely of its drinking it or not. if it works get low fat milk so that your dog doesn't gain weight or reduce the amounts of food because the milk already has a lot of calories in it.
I hope this works, good luck!

that not right didn't the vet suggest something, you might have to hold her and eye drop water into her, or make sure its always cold. sorry have a jack Russell, hes always drinking, so I'm even puzzled for you, get a second opinion at another vet and explain it.
