It's to release the air out of the engines coolant system. I replace the thermostat but I can find the nut, valve or what it is I need to release the air out of the coolant system.

There is no release valve or nut on that model truck. Take the radiator cap off the tank and run the truck. Squeeze the upper hose while running and that will help with removing the air from the system.

no 2000 ram could have a hemi or a 4.6. the hemi got here out in 03 and it replaced the 318 and the 360 engine yet some did incorporate the 4.7 besides the fact that if it wasnt no hemi no longer even on the threshold of a hemi.

NOT ALL CARS HAVE A BLEEDER ON THE COOLING SYSTEM. DODGE HAS STARTED PUTTING A HEX BOLT ON THE UPPER HOSE ASSEMBLY IF ITS THERE TAKE THE BOLT OUT AND FILL THE SYSTEM IF NO BLEEDER FILL THE SYSTEM START THE TRUCK TURN THE HEAT ON HIGH LET IT RUN AT IDLE UNTIL FAN CYCLES ADD AS NEEDED WATCH THE GAUGE SO IT DOESN'T OVER HEAT
