well... i've been having some problems with my boyfriend and everytime i try to talk about it with him, he dissmisses it... because funnily enough, the problems are talking with him....

Today my manager asked to see me and he came to my house... I've liked him for a while now and he gave me butterflies and to be honest i waited for him to hurt me so i can get over him and live my life again.... but in fact this particular night.... i let all my feelings out and i told him everything that i felt and he LISTENED... like my boyfriend would'nt :(

then suddenly... we kissed.. twice...

i kinda knew he liked me too... because of the way he smiles at me and the way he messes around with me at work.
I think about him all the time.

do you think this is all because of mine and my boyfriend's problems... or is it something that would've happened anyway?

Do you think my manager is taking advantage of me for any reason whatsoever?

If he knew what was going on between you and your boyfriend before the night you kissed, possibly taking advantage of you. He was being nice. He may be interested in you and take it to a new level. It is fun to be treated nice and listened to but if he or anyone else pressures you to do something you don't want to do, then its not right. Have fun in your new relationship!

Sounds like your manager was taking advantage of you in a vulnerable position. It's your (hard) decision what to do. I would probably recommend you dumping your bf and not hooking up with your manager again, but I bet theres about 0% chance you'll do that. Sounds like you need some alone time to think about stuff and clear your head.

Run.

This is a crappy situation. He may like you, but:

- He is your boss. He has power over you in your job.

- He is other peoples boss. You could get promoted/treated differently than other employees and open his company up to a lawsuit.

- Assume the relationship fails - how will you face him every day? How will you handle a poor review.

There is an old rule for guys, but it applies to girls as well: "Dont dip your quill in the office inkwell." It never works.
