Greatly varies on the varietal(s) where they come from but here's a simple list:
Moscato- mint, flowers and pine needles
Sauvignon Blanc- Grass, limes, grapefruits, cat pee
Chardonnay- Apples, bananas, pineapple, orange peel
Chenin Blanc- lemons, beets, earth
Pinot Blanc- mangoes, kiwi, passion fruit, quince
Pinot Grigio- granny smith apples, lemon peel, smoke

I didn't include any descriptors from oak or malolactic treatments which can add toast, wood, vanilla, butter, clove, nutmeg, etc. into the mix.

Hope that helps.

varies by the varietal or blend, there is no one-size-fits-all answer

"white wine" isn't some generic commodity

pick a specific wine and focus on that (with your own nose, or else nothing you write will have any meaning)
