Have you recently changed diet? Have you been feeding your dog a lot of milk or wet food? Maybe your dog has been eating something that has upset his stomach. What you should do is if this continues for another 24 hours then see a vet. Keep your dog in a confined area with nothing harmful for him to eat and just feed solid foods or dry food with a tiny bit of wet meat. See how this goes. Everything should be fine.

Take your dog to a vet as soon as you possibly can. It could be no more than a stomach upset, but worst case scenario, it could be something like Parvo-virus and if it is the sooner you get it identified the more likely it can be treated.

dogs naturally develop diarrhea as a means to return themselves to health diarrhea is usually a healthy healing process.
we don't run to the doctor every time we have a touch of diarrhea but if it carries on and dog acts sick then I would see vet.

You need to get him to the vet asap! It could be many things. How old is your dog, is he vaccinated? On heartworm prevention? Is he neutered? When was his last vet visit? Changes in his diet? Are you feeding tablet scraps? In any case, call your vet.

24 hours is too long for diarrhea (I believe.)
And if it's really dark that could mean he got into something bad or he could be bleeding internally.
I would take it to the 24 hour Vet asap.

he might have swollen glands!
this might sound weird but if you look at his back side and if he's redder than normal then he might have a gland problem. you could try and bring more fibre into his diet. do this by adding 'mix' to his dinner!
ring or go to the vet aswell and see what they say!
hope this helps and he gets better soon!! :)
