theres a fisheye that has a 37mm thread for digital camera by opteka, but im wondering if it would also work for my video camera which has the same thread size. I don't know if this lens is only for still shots or if it would work for both pictures and videos.

i use filters on both still film and video cameras, they interchange as long as the thread is the same diameter. The fisheye is good for video because of its extreme depth of field eliminates the need to focus, reduces the effect of camera shake, and makes pointing less critical. give it a try. It is indended to be used in the wide setting of the zoom.
