There are two male dogs ( one is mine)in the house that are going crazy over female dog in heat (she belongs to someone else that lives here). I cannot take them all to the vet to get them spayed/neutered so am hoping for a temporary solution until I can take my dog to the vet.

Yes, it is called a neuter. Don't litter, spay and neuter!

Spay before you neuter. Neutered males will still go crazy around females in heat, although maybe not as bad. I know for a fact that some neutered males continue to follow females in heat and try to hump them with no result. However, if the female's owner gets her fixed, your problems will be solved.

Yea, it's this great thing called a trip to the vet to get spayed / neutered. For both males and females! I've tried it on EVERY animal I have EVER owned. And it works miracles! Try it. You'll get GREAT results.

No. If you have an intact male around a ***** in heat, you're going to have a dog who will lift his leg in the house, howl and bark, not eat and become generally unruly. An experienced stud will only be really miserable while she's in standing heat, but an inexperienced male is usually pretty bad for the 3 weeks. If you have somewhere he can stay while she's in heat, it would be much better for him.

No, other than totally tranquilizing him which you don;t want to do.Please do him and yourself a big favor and have him neutered.

Ketamine, it's a veterinary tranquilizer, should knock him out pretty good but monitor his breathing closely as he could stop and die.
Female dogs that are going to be around males should always be spayed, as well as the males be neutered.
You can't stop a male dogs instincts no matter what you give him....unless it's anesthesia.
