With free you get daily updates and annot schedule a time and you do not get any kind of technical support with the pro you get tech support and all the better features but theres nothing wrong with the free version at all

avg free is just the virus protection, no firewall... look at the link compairs free with pro and net security

The pro version is more comprehensive.
The free version is sufficient for anyone who isn't careless or who doesn't take stupid chances.

pro costs money you have to purchase it. Free is...well free. There are more features in pro also.

avg pro doesn't expire and can detect viruses more easily
