For me, I think that's it's far fetch to ultimately find the truth! No 2 people share the same exact world view. Every one has a prejudice in favor of things that are reassuring and reported by our 5 senses: it reinforces the same message: things are what they seem! Therefore lots of people won't really search in different directions! I do agree with those who work towards an understanding of, at least, part of the truth. We all share the same the Intelligence that governs the whole cosmos, but it doesn't mean that we all work on that part of ours in order to go out of what we know and think profoundly further more on things never explore before. On trying our best, I honestly agree with you.

True, only a few blessed ones feel like or are able to keep working towards an understanding of the truth of who they are. A search for the understanding of the truth of who we are and to understand that truth is anyway the true purpose behind our lives and our existence.

Note that any true search for who we are will definitely lead the searcher to search for who i am and what is.

Also a true searcher always finds what he or she is searching for. So they will ultimately find the truth.

Well they may be blessed but none of us live long enough to find "the truth" about everything. Recognizing that seems to me to be the first step to wisdom. But the other steps are about working towards an understanding of all "other", not merely of self - though the understanding one's self, if we have the honesty and guts for it, greatly assists the rest. So we stumble on. That's life. Anything less is merely existence. There's a lot of that about. That's what creates most of the trouble.

Does everyone have their own truth? I'm an old lady and I've spent my life listening to and searching out other people's ideas of why we're all here and what role we play. I've finally come to an opinion of what I believe we're here for, but no way can I prove it to be a truth.. it's just my best guess :-)

As far as knowing oneself, that knowledge keeps expanding as long as I'm breathing. The more I interact with other people, the more I find out about myself. I'm an old lady, but I'm still changing and sometimes I surprise myself... for better or worse.

The main thing has been learning to be peaceful with myself. To accept who and what I am. Is that a search for the truth? The truth about oneself? I don't know.

We all are if we have an open mind to the understanding of the truth. You cant bury your head in the sand and expect to find out anything. Ignorance is the reason some will never expect to find or understand any kind of truth.

I do believe in sincerely seeking the truth of who you are, and what positive role you can play in the greater universe. One can never get the absolute truth, but you can get pretty far if you work hard at it. I like honest searchers for the real truth, rather than those who just accept an old truth.

I definitely agree, Rena. In truth we seek peace. We are blessed in all righteousness and good deeds. In truth we find the true meaning of life. Truth lead us to the pursuit of happiness.

Thanks for asking. Have great day!

I believe everyone should always be striving to understand the truth, but I do not agree that there is a guarantee that they will find it.

No. Searching for the truth does not equate to finding the truth. Besides, people are constantly changing so they will be constantly searching for the truth of who they are.
