People who got tattoos for the first time, how much did it really hurt? I am thinkinh getting one, is it worth it? Do you still like what you got or you regret it?

Just to give you some hint. I am thinking about getting a butterfly under my belly button, even lower but not too low. In the middle. Like a pretty big one. Would that hurt too much?

If you really want a tattoo, then you can tolerate the pain. It's more annoying than painful, but worth it if you really want a tattoo. i think as long as you spend some time and think about what you want to get long before you get it, you will not regret it. GOod luck.

I don't regret any of mine, and I plan to get more. In terms of that, you should be fine as long as you don't get something transient, like a boyfriend's name or something equally stupid.
I would seriously question where you want to get it, though.
Aesthetically, you should be careful. If you lose or gain much weight, it could stretch quite a bit, and that is a prime area to distort during pregnancy.
Beyond that, the lower abdomen area is a big bundle of nerves. From what I've seen/heard, it's one of the most painful places to get a tattoo, especially a large one. If you do decide that you want a tat in that area, I would wait until after you gotten some other area ones first, to test your own tolerance.

It all depends on your level of pain tolerance. I have a color tattoo a little bigger than a deck of cards on my shoulder, and the part that hurt was the color. I got used to the outline but the color felt like a safety scraping my bone. I'd give the pain a 4 out of 10. It was definitely worth being uncomfortable for a couple of hours, and now I have a story to tell!

it didn't hurt at all. Of course I was drunk and that may have helped. To me I regret ever getting it. Luckily it's in a place (the top of my arm) where even short sleeve shirt covers it. I hate it. I keep thinking I might get another one to cover it but at the tattoo shops they always say I need to get a black panther for cover . If that is the only choice I have I'll just keep the one I have instead of getting another one I don't like. I could have it removed but have so many scars and don't want another one (so that's out). Another thing that you might consider, when you get to be fifty, sixty, or older how do you think you will like it? And in the stomache area I'm sure it will hurt more than on an arm etc.

It wasn't that bad to me really.. but it may take a pain for a while but it is worth for me... I have a cross and two roses and I don't regret one bit. I am thinking about getting another one in praying hand with rosary and Phoninx came out of the ash into the sky with what I am going through.

Depends on where you get them. Mine are on the insides of my ankles, Hurt like hell, not a whole lot of skin down there so I every bit of that needle. It's been 3 years and I would go through the pain all over again, no regrets. Not to mention I didn't take proper care the first time I got them (stupid me, I know) and had to get them redone (double ouch.) Make sure it's something you really want and take care of it.

Yes it's worth it.
It really depends on where you get it.
Bony places like your chest and your ankles, and your hands hurt more.
Muscular places like your thighs, your stomach and your biceps hurt less because there's more fat, and its not really pushing against anything.
I don't regret getting any of my tattoos.. And I think they were all worth it because I thought them all through (and I have 19, different sizes) ... They weren't something I got out of my butt hehe..
Its worth it if you really want to get it. I recommend getting a small one first if you're really that scared of getting one..

i love mine too. very little pain, but totatly depends on where u put it. and u shouldn't regret it if its something u like

I don't know about it but i think the 1st time is just like the 1st time u getting f****d. and it's not worth it, there are many other ways to impress guys. At least, if u don't trust me, put it in some place where only u and ur guy can see it. gl
