What, you've never had your mouth washed out with soap? Soap is pretty harmless. He may be nauseated, but I doubt he's in pain. I agree with giving him liquids though, and encouraging him to eat something else so that's not the only thing in his stomach. I wouldn't give him anything greasy though, it can mix with the soap.

You shouldn't really worry about it that much. Soap shouldn't hurt your puppy. But if he is showing signs of pain try and give him lots of water to flush out his system so he can feel better faster. Im not saying you shouldn't bring him to the vet if your wondering, bringing him to the vet is still a good idea just to make sure that everythings ok. Best of luck -Avie-♥♫

he may not be in pain. Give him plenty of water to drink to wash it down. He probably doent like the taste. It not call a emergency vet or poisons information centre for more information. Read the number on the back of the soap packet and ring the line. It will tell you whats in it and wat can harm him. Soap normally isnt a problem. Next time put it out of reach from the puppy.
I wish you the best of luck for you and the puppy.

While I dont recommend anyone eating soap, it wont hurt him. At the most he will get a belly ache and the squirts. Look on the bright side....he will have very clean insides. Dogs are very curious creatures and tend to get into things that a toddler wont. Maybe he will fart bubbles?

I would take him to an emergency vet if you think he is in pain.
There is really nothing you can do except try and keep him hydrated until he sees a vet.
Good luck to you.,

well, watch the bubbles when he burbs.
Sorry, honest, you don't have to worry. My dog loved soap and he stole it whenever he got a chance. It doesn't matter, although I wouldn't feed it.
