I just got a tattoo today and I already want to get another one. How long do I have to wait for the next one? Can I get it like next week or so? Is it advisable to wait longer?

Technically, you can get it any time you want, though you should never have more than a couple of healing ones at a time.

However, it is highly advisable to wait completely through the healing process, at least a month, after your first. You need to get an idea of care/maintenance, how they heal, and any issues you might have. Also, when you are new to it, you simply shouldn't try to keep up with a lot, or risk doing damage to what you have.

I would say be the best to wait a little bit longer like a week or two before getting another one... I am not expert. I have one tattoo back in 2002... So I waited for long time until I just now wanting another one.. I am finding that tattoo is pretty addicted

You don't have to wait a certain amount of time - are you getting it right next to the other one? If so, I'd wait at least a week, otherwise it'll be extremely tender. Otherwise go for it.

No, most artists don't do it because people can't take the pain, but if you think you can, then go for it, get it next week! ;)
