I'm looking for a new recipe for stuffing to put in the bird this year, but what I really want is one that uses crab meat. Does anyone have some yummy ones to share?

4 slices of white bread cubed
1/2 cup light cream or milk
1.5 cups cooked crab meat (firmly packed)
1/4 cup melted butter
1/4 tsp cayenne
1 tsp salt
1 tsp dried mustard
1/2 tsp poultry seasoning
1/2 tsp dried thyme

Mix cream into bread until all absorbed, then add crabmeat, melted butter and the rest of the ingredients, and stuff the bird. (If it is not enough - if you are cooking a large bird just double up on the quantities )

here is mine ;1/4 c onions diced small,1/4 c celery ,diced small,1/4 c carrots,shredded,3 tblsp butter,4 c fresh bread crumbs,1 tsp pepper, 1/4 tsp bells seasoning,1 c turkey stock (juice off the boiling neck is fine ),salt to taste ,
saute onion ,celery ,and carrots in the butter untill soft, combine the vegtable mixture with the bread crumbs ,pepper, bells seasoning in a large mixing bowl ,stir in stock, untill well moistened. Bake in greased covered shallow casserole at 325. bake 35 to 45 min. take the cover off for the last 5 min to brown. taste for salt and serve.Crab meat would not be very safe due to it s tendancy to spoil rather quickly and you could not save the stuffing for more than 24 hrs .

We don't do crabmeat stuffing, but here is the recipe my family has used for at least 5 generations - it is easy & gets rave reviews.

cubed bread [not croutons]
diced celery
diced onions
Bell's poultry seasoning
melted butter & water
That's it.
It is so moist! No sauteeing, nothing. Just break bread, dice veggies, pop on the Bells & butter water. Badda Bing.

I never used crab meat.
Dried bread cubes, though I have used the box stuffing and add these:
cooked sausage
sauted onion and celery
sage
cooked turkey giblets, chopped
