SCALLOPED POTATOES:
Thinly slice potatoes & onions, about 3 to 1 ratio.
Build up alternate layers in pyrex or ceramic oven-ware.
Mix a can of mushroom or celery soup with a can of water.
Pour over filled dish, add enough milk to cover potatoes.
Grate cheddar cheese over top, cover & bake @ 350F.
Test potatoes are tender after 30 minutes or more.
Remove cover for last 10 minutes to brown cheese.

peel the potatoes, slice then, put on stove with little oil, cook (flip often) for about 15 minutes and then add cheese in a bowl or plate

I could toss the chook and the chook broth within the crock, fill in with some thing greens you employ frequently for soup, and switch it directly to prime for approximately four hours!! Fill simplest to inside an inch of the highest of the crock or it's more likely to boil over and make a large number! season as you could for soup in a kettle at the stovetop!! style scan and poke the chook with fork to scan tenderness, doneness on the four hour mark. I simply moved a few of my soup/stew recipes over to the sluggish cooker as a substitute than the inventory pot at the range most sensible!! They paintings simply as good there, and routinely even bigger.
